Built between 1926 and 1932 all along the Tamanduateà River, the market (12.600 square metres)counts on: bars, centers, fruit and fish shops, etc. A lot of international products are marketed there as well!. If you visit this market you cannot miss the famous cod pie or the mortadella and provolone cheese sandwich when going to the bars around there. The juices made of natural seasonal fruit and the black "chopinhos" are also delicious.
